I understand pretty well how animations work but I'm having a hard time trying to create something like this:



How do I "break" the heart? I've been looking for brushes or fonts that have 2 halves that actually fit with each other so I can put them together and then pull them apart but so far I got nothing. I also tried to make both halves from scratch by myself but that's not working either.
Any help please?

So I did the long weekend thing and drove up to my parents in WI for the weekend.  I've been on the lake, min golfing, at the candy shop, at the ice cream shop, and all this other great stuff that I haven't done in so long I can't remember.  My husband and I stayed up watching Hot Fuzz last night - SO FUNNY.  Then when I got here on Friday night and my mom and I stayed up watching the second season of SPN since I threatened to take my box set home.  She's had it since the thing came out and hasn't watched it yet.  So we watched it up to 2x04.  I only watched that season once and forgot how funny some of the lines and stuff are.  In 2x02 when Dean makes Sam sit in the clown chair and the wonderful "...there's a chiperabura..." line from Gordon because of the X-Files reference where Scully LOATHED that creature.  So I'm leaving it up here for Mom and buying another one for myself cuz odds are, it's NEVER getting back to my house.  Oh, plus, I noticed how badass the musical selection was in the older seasons.  To quote my husband, "Cut the chicks out of the show and bring back the good tunes!"

Oh, another day until I have to go back to work.  I actually got some tan which is crazy cuz I'm normally so pale in nature.  I'll be back to all my normal activities within the week.

I have a *really annoying* problem with Photoshop. I use PS CS2.
It won't open *.png files :(

Been distracted by other concerns lately...nothing really serious except for the apartment recertification, which was surprisingly easy.  A bureaucratic organization not demanding papers in triplicate?  The apocalypse must be coming.

I'm working on a story that has a bit of a crack!fic feel to it, which is odd, as there's nothing intrinsically crack!like about the basic premise.  But it involves wacky text messages (can you guess what }:-@ refers to?), a theoretical physics pun, a triangle between Willow, Tara, and Fred (with none of the three totally understanding what's happening), a nigh-omnipotent demon stalking Dawn, and Gunn trying to figure out why he feels uncomfortable in Sunnydale.
